CAN I COMMISSION A CUSTOM PIECE OF JEWELRY?

Yes, I'd love to work with you to create that special dream piece. Unconventional engagement rings, bridal tiaras and other wedding jewelry have been popular custom requests.

CAN I INCLUDE A PERSONALIZED NOTE ON A GIFT ORDER?

Yes, please let me know what you'd like the note to say and I will happily include a handwritten card. 

WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING OPTIONS?

Orders within the U.S. are shipped via FedEx or UPS Ground, insured at a flat rate of $15 per shipment. Please contact me if you require expedited shipping. If you prefer your jewelry to ship via another service, please send me an email before placing your order and we can discuss details. 

International orders are shipped Express Air via USPS. Before placing an international order, please email your address to shop@spacemermaid.com so that I can estimate your shipping rate. International orders may be subject to taxes, duties & customs fees. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Customs authorities require the value of your order to be stated directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of customs agents to release your package. Please note that on rare occasions customs agents may delay delivery of some packages.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Your order will ship via FedEx or UPS Ground within three days of receipt of payment. Custom orders will take longer. If you need your jewelry to arrive by a certain date, please email me before placing your order to make sure this will be possible. I will make every effort to rush your order if necessary.

DO YOU ACCEPT CHECKS?

Orders are processed through PayPal's secure shopping cart. Space Mermaid accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If you would prefer to pay by check, please email me to discuss details. Please note that your order will not ship until your check clears.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Limited Edition pieces may be returned/exchanged for any reason within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. Note: shipping costs are not refundable, and you are responsible for new shipping costs on an exchanged item. For your protection, please send your return via an insured shipping method, as Space Mermaid is not responsible for returns that are lost in the mail. If you would like to make a return, please email shop@spacemermaid.com first for more information. Custom orders and one-of-a-kind pieces are not refundable. Please note that all sales are final on orders shipped outside the U.S.

HOW DO I KEEP MY JEWELRY FROM TARNISHING?

Many Space Mermaid pieces incorporate sterling silver, which will tarnish over time when exposed to the elements. To slow the oxidation process, you may store your jewelry in a cool, dry place in an airtight plastic bag. Store jewelry away from sunlight, which may cause discoloration or fading. Avoid contact with water, perfume, moisturizer, hair products, chlorine, etc. If you use these products, wait for them to dry before putting on your jewelry. Gently wipe the jewelry clean with a soft cotton cloth after wearing. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals to clean your jewelry. Please wear with care.

Space Mermaid is not currently taking wholesale orders.
